Pupils learnt about the different properties of Materials from http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/scienceclips/ages/7_8/characteristics_materials.shtml. They watched a flash animation to find out whether the object is water-proof, hard, flexible or transparent. After that, pupils were grouped into their cooperative learning groups. They had to identify 6 objects in the classroom and state their material(s).
