Learning about Units of Measurements (metres and centimetres)

In the topic - Measurements, pupils measured the length of their heads, arms and

legs. After that, they added the measurements they had to find the sums.

Skeleton Puppet (9 July 2008)

Pupils constructed skeleton puppets when they were learning about the human body systems.

Science Lessons on Plants (30 June 2008)

In this Science lessons, pupils observed and touched the plants (Torenia, Orchid and African violet) and even smelled their flowers. After that, they chose one plant they like and and drew it on their workbook.

Show-and-Tell on Memorable Photographs (24-27 June 2008)

Pupils did a Show-and-Tell on memorable photographs taken during the June vacations, birthdays, outings and so on.

Creating Graphs (17 July 2008)

Some pupils designed some tables using drawing papers. Some tables are about birthday months, their favourite cartoons, favourite day of the week and ambitions. Pupils chose the respective rows of these tables and pasted the stickers onto them.

Dramatization in Composition

In a picture composition writing lesson, dramatization was used. Pupils role-played the two boys in the pictures who had a race. A boy was knocked down by an oncoming vehicle.

Post-exam activity - "Thinking" Games

As an post-exam activity, pupils are given some match-sticks to solve some patterns. These games empowers critical and logical thinking.

Show-and-Tell on Kindness Act (13 May 2008)

As a post-exam activity, pupils did a show-and-tell on an kindness incident they had. This is a form of teachable moment for pupils to learn about caring for others.
